Daniel Ray is an attorney at the firm’s Houston office. He practices litigation in both federal and state court in a broad variety of substantive areas, including commercial litigation, insurance coverage, subrogation, admiralty/maritime, personal injury, property damage, and general civil litigation. Daniel’s insurance coverage experience includes both first-party property and third-party general liability.
Daniel graduated from the University of Houston Law Center, cum laude, while clerking year-round for a boutique civil litigation firm in Houston. He was inducted into the Order of the Barristers (advocacy honor society) and the Order of the Barons (top 15% of class). He also represented the school’s moot court program as both a brief writer and speaker in multiple national competitions and won the award for Best Oral Advocate at the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition in 2015.
